The Diocese of Springfield has begun a Strategic Realignment Initiative: One Church • One Mission • Many Communities, a prayerful and collaborative process focused on strengthening parish life throughout western Massachusetts.

As part of this process, our parish recently participated in a Parish Listening Session. Parishioners were invited to learn more about the initiative, reflect on the strengths and challenges of our parish community, and share their hopes and concerns for the future.

The Diocese has emphasized that this process is centered on prayer, discernment, listening, and collaboration. The goal is to explore how parishes can best use their people, ministries, leadership, facilities, and resources to continue the mission of the Church now and into the future.

Action Plan For Construction of Clinic

I got a call from the chairman of the Board of Directors of St. Francis Parish, Ghana, Inc.: Health Initiatives. He has received a check of $36,851.00. However, he had earlier received $300.00 and $100.00 checks. The total from St. Patrick’s Parish is $37,251.00.

Dear Parishioners of St. Patrick Church,

On behalf of the people of Azoorebiisi Village, and on my own behalf, I would like to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude for your incredibly generous and extraordinary contribution of $37,151.00 towards the construction of a health clinic in Azoorebiisi Village. Please, accept our heartfelt thanks. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, compassion, and commitment to helping others are profoundly appreciated.

Your contribution is a meaningful investment in health, hope, and dignity. The construction of a clinic in Azoorebiisi will provide much-needed access to healthcare services for individuals and families, who currently face significant challenges in obtaining medical care. Your contribution will help create a resource that will bring healthcare closer to home and improve the health and well-being of children, mothers, elders, and the entire community.
